Opel Crossland X SHOW2017: proud partners in creativity
We are very proud that Opel Belgium has chosen to be part of this year’s edition of the graduation show as lead partner by supporting this incubator of young talent and providing a vehicle fleet for the shuttle service reserved for participants and their invitees. Two of the most recent models will feature prominently, both brand new Opel designs: the Insignia Grand Sport and the Crossland X, the latter being presented in static form. An interesting detail in this respect is that the Crossland X, Opel’s compact SUV, has a particularly pronounced “Belgian” character. Thibaut Doneux and Marc Van Der Haegen, members of Opel’s design team based in Rüsselsheim (Germany), were in charge of its development. Thibaut hails from Dinant, and Marc was born in Ostend and studied in Antwerp. This shows that close links also exist between Belgium and the world of Design.
