Le Corbusier. Linderoever-Chandigarch
In 1933, Le Corbusier participated in an international competition to design a new, modern city for the Linderoever (‘Left Bank’) in Antwerp. The competition ended with n winners, therefore Le Corbusier’s plans were never implemented. Twenty years after creating these plans, Le Corbusier drew a new city for India: Chandigarh. This city was designed for 150.000 residents, but has now grown into a bustling major city with 1.200.000 residents. In 2016, and area of Chandigarch received recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Rubens re-viewed

The exhibition ‘Rubens ‘Re-viewed’ brings these lost ceiling paintings back to life, alongside 18 prints by Rudy De Graef, which are inspired by Ruben’s paintings for the first floor.
