BIZARRE NOZOMI
I was inspired by 1980-90s Japanese ‘cyberpunk’ science fictions. I wanted to capture the trauma and fear of nuclear war in these films and express it in my collection.
The darkness and chaotic post-nuclear war comes out by mixing formal materials and shapes with 80-90s digital expression graphics to create a contrast between elegant and rough, formal and aggressive.
This collection also includes messages of opposition to New-Cold War.
