SHOW/OFF MAGAZINE: Thanks to the support of Medialogue and the close cooperation with Feeling/Lene Kemps and Marie-Claire/Fabienne Willaert a magazine has been created that will be published internationally. The magazine can be bought during the show 2008.
WEBSITE: Emmy Mees and Chris Gillis developed a website dedicated to the Fashion Department and the show together with the students of the last year. Each presents his profile and cv on the site www.antwerp-fashion.be
DEFILES: Backstage assistance by students of the Fashion Department during the defiles in showrooms of different designers in Paris. Shows of Dries Van Noten, Véronique Branquinho, A.F. Vandevorst, Bernhard Willhelm, Raf Simons, Haider Ackermann, Bruno Pieters, Giorgio Armani in Antwerp.
EXPOSITION: Skirts by 1st Bachelor, historical costumes by 2nd Bachelor and ethnical costumes by 3rd  Bachelor shown in the gallery of the Fashion Museum.
IFF: 3rd Bachelor students worked together on a project in cooperation with IFF, International Flavours and Fragrances. Assignment: creating a concept for perfume.
“SKIRT 1” LONDON: The work of 1st Bachelor students was shown in the “Wapping Hydraulic Power Station” galery in London. Curator Jules Wright.
VITRINE/FLANDERS FASHION INSTITUTE: Taro Horiuchi, Daniel Andresen, Marc Philippe Coudeyre, Gun Hyo Kim. The FFI has given 4 graduates the opporunity to present their collection in an installation during Vitrine 2007/: SURFACES. www.ffi.be
IT'S SIX: Heaven Tanudiredja, Ek Thongprasert, Taro Horiuchi and Rani Bageria participated in July 2007  It’s Six competition in Trieste. Ek Thongprasert won the main prize.
IT'S SEVEN:  Yuima Nakazato, Andrea Cammarosano and Elise Gettliffe are nominated for the competition It’s Seven in Trieste. www.itsweb.org
FESTIVAL D'HYERES 2008: Peter Bertsch (graduate of 2006) wins the 1.2.3. prize at the annual festival in Hyères in 2007 and shows his collection in 2008 for 1.2.3.
FESTIVAL WEEKEND KNACK: Ek Thongprasert wins the Weekend Knack Festival prize, an international competition with a selection of students from the best European fashion schools. www.weekend.be
EL BOTON: Christian Wijnants and Mikio Sakabe each win 18.000 euro as finalists of the MANGO competition 2007. They participated in 2007 in the final, chaired by Valentino in Barcelona. www.mangofashionawards.com

ELNETT: The Master students make designs for the Elnett hairspray “Belgian Limited Edition”. The winning design is printed on 100.000 pieces and sold in Belgium. The winner receives 1.500 euro, the Fashion Department 4.500 euro. www.elnett.com
KANTLIJNEN BRUGES: A selection of pieces from the 1st Bachelor and collections from graduates can be seen in November at the opening and show of the exhibition Kantlijnen. Open from the 14th of November 2008 till the 1st of March 2009 in Brugges at different locations. www.museabrugge.be
BREAD & BUTTER – BARCELONA: The 16 finalists of this year are invited in the Source Hall of the Bread & Butter fair in Barcelona from the 2nd till the 4th July 2008. They each show 2 of their design. All costs for stay and transport are sponsored by B&B Barcelona. www.breadandbutter.com

ASAP PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICES AWARD is given to Tugce Ögucak : Photographic work for an amount of 1000 euro awarded to the most photogenic collection by a 3rd year student.  www.asap-fotolab.be

FFI/KIPLING AWARD is given to Laurence Bruyninckx : this award is in cooperation with VF Europe/Kipling and is a payed internship in the design office of Kipling - www.ffi.be and www.kipling.com
FLANDERS FASHION INSTITUTE/LEE – MAKE HISTORY AWARD is given to Yu Fukumoto : This award is in cooperation with VF Europe/Lee, a sum of 2000 euro goes to a talented student - www.ffi.be and www.makehistory.eu
IFF AWARD: Emilie Pirlot wins a trip to New York and she can present her winning perfume project at the head office of International Flavors and Fragrances. Six Lee, Stephanie D’Heygere, Tugce Özocak, Lars Paschke, Alexandra Verschueren each receive a prize of 200 euro.
WEEKEND KNACK AWARD is given to Hung La : granted by the fashion team of Knack WE headed by Elke Lahousse. The award goes to the most promising designer and includes a coverage in Weekend Knack in September 2008 – www.weekend.be
LOUIS AWARD is given to Tugce Özucak : For the most remarkable student of the 3rd year. He/she can show her collection in the windows of Louis.
CHRISTINE MATHIJS AWARD is given to Antonin Tron : In honour of Christine’s passion for fashion an Award of 2500 euro is handed out for the collection that shows this passion the most. Christine Mathijs was co-founder of NV Dries Van Noten.
JBC AWARD is given to Laurence Bruyninckx : award for the collection with the most commercial potential. The winner receives 2500 euro and the chance to commercialize a silhouette led by the creative and technical team of JBC. This silhouette can be bought in JBC stores in the summer of 2009 – www.jbc.be
